Long Island City, New York, is a densely populated neighborhood in the borough of Queens, near the East River. Across the river, locals can view prominent skyscrapers from Manhattan, like the Empire State Building and the Flatiron Building. Located between Astoria, Greenpoint, and Sunnyside, Long Island City is a central transit hub and home to the Queensboro Bridge and the seven train.
